This Gone with the Wind Rhett Butler Music Box from Ardleigh-Elliott was issued in 1993. It is from the Scarlett and Rhett; Moments of Passion Musical Collection. It plays the music “Rhett Butler”, and is handcrafted and handpainted. The sculptor is Titus Tomescu. This porcelain sculpture stands approximately 6 1/2” in height. The documentation that accompanies this musical sculpture states that the sculptural base, which is removable to show a small compartment, serves as a fine-quality acoustical sound chamber for outstanding musical resonance. This figurine is an estate item. It was stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home. It is new in its original packaging and was removed only to take pictures and to confirm that the music box is in working order. The only “blemish” is some “shine” on the top of the step which is from the plastic that it was originally packed in. The Certificate of Issuance is included.
